Mission
- To reach the many unreached people of Nepal by establishing modern tertiary eye hospitals in different regions of Nepal.
- To prioritize primary eye health care services to the community via extending hospital services to the community through primary eye centers and regular eye screening camps.
- To develop the infrastructure needed for the highest quality of eye care services at all centers.
- To provide super specialty services such as cornea, retina, glaucoma, uvea, oculoplasty, neuroophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology, vision therapy, contact lens, low vision and ophthalmic dispensing at all centers.
- To enhance human resource development process by regular exchange of ophthalmic practitioners from different eye hospitals inside and outside of the country.
- To make the services affordable to the poor and needy.
- To partner with various NGOs, INGOs and other private organizations to combat blindness and visual impairment.
- To actively participate in research activities for inventing newer treatment and refinement of the eye care delivery services.
- To produce ophthalmic human resources after initiating a school of optometry and residency program in ophthalmology.
