There are numerous conditions and diseases of the cornea that needs special attention by cornea specialists. Various types of medical and surgical treatments for corneal and extraocular diseases are provided within our center. Our cornea clinicians have received a fellowship from the world’s highest-ranked eye hospitals. We are fortunate to have a cornea specialist who has received cornea fellowship from the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, NY, USA and the Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, Nepal. We strive to provide the best of the best care to our cornea patients. Some surgical procedures that we perform at our center include:

  • Sutureless pterygium surgery (removal of the fleshy growth in the eye without stitches)
  • Corneal transplant (transplantation of a donated cornea),
  • Descement’s Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK)
  • Descement’s Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSEK)

(DSEK and DMEK are the specialized surgical procedure for patients with decompensated (diseased/cloudy) cornea due to endothelial cell loss.)
